Artificial Intelligence is Helping to Unearth New Quality Mining Projects

June 10, 2021 - By: Baystreet Staff

The world just can’t function without mining. After all, mined minerals have become essential for your cell phones, electric vehicles, solar panels, wind turbines, your computers, you name it.

In addition, with a growing population, urbanization, demand for green energy, buildings, cars, and even more electronic gadgets, we’ll see an increased need for metals. What makes mining even more valuable is the fact we’re already coming up short on necessary metals, like copper, silver, platinum, palladium, nickel, cobalt, and rhodium to name a few. However, companies, like Windfall Geotek Inc. (TSXV:WIN)(OTC:WINKF)(FSE:L7C2), Sokoman Minerals Corp. (TSXV:SIC)(OTC:SICNF), AmmPower Corp. (CSE:AMMP)(OTC:AMMPF), Golden Ridge Resources Ltd. (TSXV:GLDN)(GORIF), and Emerita Resources Corp. (CVE:EMO)(OTC:EMOTF) are racing to uncover new projects that can help meet resource demand.

In fact, companies like Windfall Geotek are providing artificial intelligence (AI) to unearth minerals with a higher likelihood of success. “It’s a BIG world. On average, only 1 out of every 3,333 potential mining projects have been exploited in the last few years. Windfall Geotek is the only pure project generator harnessing AI horsepower to discover what geologists couldn’t possibly process with their own eyes,” notes the company.

Windfall Geotek (TSXV:WIN)(OTC:WINKF)(FSE:L7C2) Expands Red Lake Mining Camp Claims

Windfall Geotek (TSXV:WIN; OTCQB:WINKF), a leader in the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with advanced knowledge-extraction techniques since 2005 in the mining sector is pleased to announce additional staking of high probability AI targets North of Aurcrest Gold’s Ranger Lake Property. Windfall Geotek’s proprietary AI system analyzes large data sets to find exploration targets that lack visual outcroppings and have been undetected using traditional exploration methods.

Dinesh Kandanchatha, Chairman of Windfall Geotek commented: “We are very excited to see our partners in the field validating our technology. Red lake is a prolific camp and we continue to expand our holdings based on the outputs of our technology. Positive drill results for Aurcrest Gold will be accretive to all our holdings in the area.”

AurCrest Gold (TSX-V: AGO) Highlights and Activities

- Aggressively exploring their 1,010 ha flagship Ranger Lake Property in Red Lake, Ontario

- Recently staked a further 654 claims or approximately 13,210 additional ha in the East Red Lake Gold Camp

- Commissioned Windfall Geotek for its use of the CARDS AI analysis, which provided excellent high probability targets on the Ranger Lake Property that have been underexplored

- Spatiotemporal Geochemical Hydrocarbon (“SGH”) survey has validated both geological units and Windfall AI CARDS targets with values up to 706 ppb Au¹ (Figure 1 & 2)

- Recently commenced their maiden drill program on the Ranger Lake property utilizing high probability CARDS targets²

- Rollout of AurCrest's Forest Carbon Offset with the incorporation of Big Tree Carbon Corp

Chris Angeconeb, President and CEO of Aurcrest Gold commented: “It is very significant that both the CARDS modelling and the subsequent SGH interpretation independently categorize this target within a high probability percentile, . . . [hence helping de-risking the drilling campaign] We are very excited to have this additional layer of geochemical validation to support our nascent geologic and structural model and are eager to advance a broader understanding of the potential of our Ranger Lake gold property.”

Significantly, the regionally important northeast-southwest trending Appleton Fault, which is associated with New Found Gold Corp’s Keats Main Zone discovery, transects the middle of the Williams Property. A Phase II prospecting program will commence shortly to: 1) follow up on areas of interest identified by Golden Ridge’s successful 2020 Phase I exploration program, and 2) firm up high-priority exploration targets for follow up trenching. The trenching program will commence immediately following the completion of the Phase II prospecting program. Golden Ridge is extremely encouraged by the recent drilling results from New Found Gold Corp’s Queensway Gold project.

Emerita Resources Corp. announced that it has received a resolution from the Mining Department in Huelva approving the proposed work program for the entire Iberia Belt West project, subject to the Company receiving final approval from the Environmental Department for the El Cura and La Romanera targets. Emerita has engaged FRASA Ingenieros Consultores, a highly reputable engineering firm with offices in Spain and internationally, to prepare the environmental documentation for the west side of the IBW project, including the El Cur and La Romanera targets, in order to obtain the “Autorizacion Ambiental Unificada (AAU)”. FRASA are the environmental consultants used by major companies in the area for permitting and are well versed in the requirements to obtain work permits. The required documentation for the AAU was submitted on April 8, 2021.
